Privacy Policy

This site doesn't contain any cookies, trackers, analytics services or CDNs. Since the site is hosted on Codeberg, they (and some parties involved in the operation of their services) may have access to some amount of data. See their Privacy Policy.

When you click a link leading to an external source (i.e. another website, like Odysee, inv.nadeko.net, social.linux.pizza), the Privacy Policy of that website applies. I don't take responsibility for the potential privacy violations of that site.

This site doesn't include any malicious JavaScript, the language is only used for generating some data (e.g. in utils), loading dynamic content (e.g. quizzes with randomized questions) and reacting to user interaction (e.g. regenerating password on button click, copying generated password to clipboard), not for fingerprinting or sending data to any servers.

Recommendations displayed in the "Related content" sections of content pages are fully static, the same for every user of the site, are related solely to the content of the current page (e.g. links to Password generator and Privacy quiz on the Username generator page), no behavioral data is collected to provide the suggestions.

Utils

Utils generate data (password, username, minimized CSS code, etc.) on the client side (i.e. directly inside the browser, in the loaded copy of the website), the generated data only exists in the loaded copy of the site, doesn't get sent to any servers, it gets erased when the page is left or reloaded.

When copying data generated by utils (using the Copy button), the previous content of the clipboard isn't accessed.

Quizzes

Questions are fully random, are chosen from predefined pools of questions via pure random generation, no data is collected to personalize the questions.

Results only exist in the loaded copy of the site, don't get sent to any servers, they get erased when the page is left or reloaded.

BrainlessGPT

"Conversations" with BrainlessGPT only exist in the loaded copy of the site, don't get sent to any servers, they get erased when the page is left or reloaded.

BrainlessGPT doesn't actually interpret your prompts, only recognizes a few hardcoded (i.e. specifically written in code) words and symbols. See lines 41-48 in the related JavaScript code file.

Article and cheatsheet pages

When copying code blocks of cheatsheets to clipboard (using the Copy button), the previous content of the clipboard isn't accessed.

Article and cheatsheet exports pull files from the Codeberg repository of the site (or the local repository, if you run the site offline), no third-party service is used.

RSS feed for articles is hosted on Codeberg, so no additional policies apply.

Potential changes, feedback

To prove the statements made in this Privacy Policy, the source code of the site is publicly available.
