May 2: The birth of the site

May 10: Base design of the site is implemented

March 4: Programming cheatsheets hit main branch after a longer period of work

March 18: About page is added, the page is out of WIP state

March 19: Character limit of password generator is extended from 64 to 128 characters

April 1: CrapGPT is added as an April's Fools joke

April 2: CrapGPT remains available as FosseryGPT, with "April's Fools" interaction removed

2025

January 26: FosseryGPT is renamed to BrainlessGPT to avoid confusion about it being a real AI

February 2-15: Design of the page is reworked, sidebar added to content pages, "Requires JavaScript" labels are added, some parts of the site is made more usable with JavaScript disabled.

February 16: Username generator is added, password generator gets Regenerate button

February 24-26: Tested browsers section is added to the About page, site is tested with browsers not using the 3 major browser engines (e.g. Falkon, Ladybird, Servo, Pale Moon etc.).

March 22: Improved design with card image borders, new Utilities menu page for username/password generator CSS code minifier.

March 22-27: Fossery Tech articles shared on Mastodon and Odysee become available on the site, with downloadable versions.

April 1: FosseryWeb turns into FosillaWeb to fight for the open web with its Firefoss web browser, and its neat little Terms of Use.

May 23 - June 6: Major code refactor and bug fix update, with minor design improvements, some pages moved to new URL.
